What we do: Our business is based broadly on two strategic lines of action: Automation Systems and Control, and Electronic Signs for Public Information. The first line has a strategic action in two areas of business, according to the purpose of the system to control: Industrial Automation and Building Automation. The second line of action is reflected in the business area of Public Information. How we do it: The areas of Industrial Automation and Building Automation solutions are based on hardware and software platforms of technology partners with whom we have agreements (Siemens / Schneider / Omron / Invensys). What distinguishes us from the market is the high level of engineering service that we can offer and to respond with competence and flexibility to the various challenges presented to us by customers. The area of Public Information solutions is based on our own hardware and software. The industrialization of the production of these solutions is provided directly by the company. Who we do it for: Microprocessor customers are spread over the five continents. We have products and/or systems in Germany, South Africa, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil and many other countries, which proves the international focus of the company. In Portugal we have reference customers such as Sonae, Brisa, CUF, Banco de Portugal, Taguspark, Estradas de Portugal, Norscut, EFACEC, STCP, Metro do Porto, Carris, Portugal Telecom, etc. What makes us innovative: The continuous pursuit of customer satisfaction leads us to the need to seek the latest technology solutions to our systems and products. Supported by an engineering team that constantly updates, the Company has an ongoing concern to renew its product range. Thus, when a product is reaching its maturity, another one developed, replacing it with obvious advantages for the customer. Certification and Quality Control: We are in the implementation phase of quality certification under ISO 9001. In what concerns the home-made products, they are CE / EMC compliant (as defined by the Portuguese Electronic Institute), and in the case of traffic signs, they are certified by the CERTIF according to European Standard EN 12966. International Operations and Alliances: Microprocessador has developed some partnerships with technology-driven companies of international standing: Siemens, Schneider, Andover Controls, Oracle, Delta Controls, Omron, Foxboro, etc. In commercial terms, in the field of electronic displays of information, we do have partners in Poland (CarboAutomatyka and SignalCo), Spain (Ceprenor) and Greece (IFIP Co). In the areas of Automation and Systems, we are operating in Brazil, Angola, Spain, UK and other countries. In these areas, the strategy of internationalization has been going with other renowned Portuguese partners, such as Sonae, EFACEC, CLEAR (Grupo Soares da Costa), and face the challenge together.
